Abel Cardenas

Abel Cardenas of Smithville entered the arms of the Lord May 6, 2016 at the age of 80. He was born in Flatonia, Texas to Juana and Manuel Cardenas.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Janie Sandoval Cardenas.

Abel is survived by his children, Linda Cardenas, Daniel Cardenas (Martha), Bennie Cardenas, David Cardenas (Monica), Roy Anthony Cardenas; grandchildren, Lindsey, Leah, Victor, Brenda, Alisha, Daniel, Janie, Tyler, Syerah; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Nick Cardenas; sister, Sara Sarabia (Paul), and numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 8:00pm Friday May 13, 2016 at Marrs-Jones funeral home. Funeral Services will 11:00am Saturday May 14, 2016 at Marrs-Jones funeral Home with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
