Alvin A. Tinberg, 86, of Smithville, TX, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2018 with his family by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gust and Hulda Tinberg; five brothers; wife, Lucille (Lucy) Tinberg; step son Perry Stolle; step great granddaughter Victoria Zapalac.
Survivors are daughter Valerie Larson and husband Bob of Oregon, Wisconsin; step daughters Diana Hector and husband Bill of Smithville, TX; Sandra Travis and husband Kent of Hemphill, TX; step grandchildren, Jennifer Zapalac, Neal Hector, Wade Wallace, Shane Travis, Jessica Binagia, Jedediah Stolle, Ashley Stolle; great grandchildren John Flowers, III, Jordan Maxwell, Bailey Anne Hector, Perry Hector, Addison Hector, Tyler Travis, Shelby Binagia, Bella Binagia, Evelyn Stolle, Atticus Stolle, Eliza Stolle; one great great grandson Edison Maxwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Tinberg was a retired dairy farmer, was an insurance agent, worked for the 7-11 and later owned Alvie's Stump Grinding Service.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 19 at the Grace Lutheran Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church.
Pallbearers will be Neal Hector, Ronnie Olson, John Flowers, III, Marvin Kasper, Edward Randle and Jim Duty.
Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville, TX.
