Barbara Scott

Barbara N. Scott, from Abernathy, Texas and most recently Smithville, Texas was born September 11, 1936 and went to be with our Lord, October 30, 2015. Barbara is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert E. Scott; son Robert Scott and his wife, Shelly; and son Bart Scott; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brother Dorman Allen and his wife Nancy. She was preceded by her parents Gladys (Scott) and William H. Allen, and sister, Vaughdeen Meier.

Barbara enjoyed sharing time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Her interests included quilting, cross-stitching and sewing. She also loved camping and spending time at their cabin in Ruidoso, New Mexico. Barbara was the heart of the family and will be missed by all who knew her.

The celebration of her life will be at Harvest Methodist Church in Missouri City, Texas, Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock, TX.
