Bernice K. Luck passed away peacefully on August 24, 2020 at the age of 98. She was born in 1922 in New Braunfels, Texas to Myrtle Eva and Chester Leonard Kelley.
Bernice was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 39, the Rebekah Lodge 180, The VFW Auxiliary 1309, The American Legion Auxiliary 180, and a lifelong member of the 1st Baptist Church of Smithville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennie Luck; son, Bennie Gene Luck; brothers, Eugene Kelley, Edward Kelley, Elbert Bradshaw; and great-grandson, A.P. Richards, Jr.
Bernice is survived by her daughters, Katherine Richards, Sharon Paysse; sisters, Lori Adams, Joyce Call; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home in Smithville, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 2:00pm on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the 1st Baptist Church of Smithville with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville, Texas.
