Bertha Johnson passed away November 6, 2021 at the age of 94. She was born in Ness County Kansas to Edna and Otto Weilert in 1927.
Bertha was a retired school teacher from Hays Kansas and a longtime resident of the Rosanky community.
Bertha is survived by her three children, John T. Johnson and his wife Chong Suk, Bryan Johnson and his wife Phyllis, Rebecca and her husband Dr. Don Parker; grandchildren, Christopher Johnson and his wife Megan, Richard Johnson, Jennifer Gary, Travis Parker, Cimmaron and husband Gregoire; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson, Will Johnson, Ella Johnson and Annie Ko Gary.
Visitation will begin at 6:00pm and the Rosary at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Marrs Jones Funeral Home, located at 110 American Legion Road in Smithville, Texas.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30am on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church in String Prairie, Texas.
A private burial will be scheduled at a later date at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
