Cecil Wayne "Red" Norris

Cecil Wayne “Red” Norris, 90 years of age, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on April 16, 2023.    Red was born in Memphis, TN, grew up in Washington, DC, and graduated college at Southwest Texas University. He was a teacher and counselor for twenty years at Brooke Elementary School in East Austin.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Fred & Hope Norris; daughter, Rebecca; and grandson, Jackson.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, LaVerne; son, Anthony and wife, Rebecca; son, Sean; and granddaughter, Reagan.

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 11:00AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockne, Texas.
