David Vasek

David Allen Vasek passed away on January 9, 2019 at the age of 70.  He was born in Smithville, Texas on August 6, 1948 to parents Edward and Ester (Slavik) Vasek.

David is survived by his wife, Janis Vasek;  his children, Lisa (Vasek) Ladewig and her husband Tony of Smithville, Texas; Phillip and his wife Heather of Katy, Texas and Brent Cunningham and his wife Jennifer of Bremerton, Washington; Brothers, Earnest Vasek and his wife Sandy of Cypress, Texas; Robert Vasek and his wife Pam of Smithville, Texas and Sister-N-Law, Mary Vasek of Plum, Texas. David is also survived by four Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren.

The family will hold a visitation Friday, January 18, 2018 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM at All Faiths of the Pines, Smithville, Texas.

Services will be the following day at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 19, 2019 at First United Methodist Church, Smithville, Texas.

Graveside Services for David will be scheduled for a later date.
