Dorothy Dillon

Dorothy Lucille Stinson Dillon was born June 30, 1938 in Oklahoma City, OK to Hubert Eugene and Reba Lucille Almond Stinson.  She left us on March 10, 2022 at 83yrs of age.

Dorothy married Richard Lawrence Dillon June 8, 1957 and celebrated 51 years of marriage before he passed in 2008.

She worked for Austin School District and retired after 20 years.  After retirement she enjoyed volunteering with the Smithville food bank, the Born Again Emporium, and First Presbyterian Church.
Dorothy was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Vera Lou Neimier.  She is survived by her children Richard Loyd (Denise) Dillon, Diana Lynn (Dan) Cullen and Douglas Charles (Charlotte) Dillon.  9 Grandchildren, Elisha (Anne) Dillon, Jennifer (John) Taylor, Shannon (Walt) Sizemore, Andrea (Russell) Yenny, Stephen Cullen, Jeffery (Chelsea) Dillon, Ashley (Kodie) Perkins, Christopher (Angel) Cullen, and Ryan Cullen.  16 Great-Grandchildren, Clayton Dougherty, Makenzie Taylor, Paisley Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Dylan Sizemore, Sadie Yenny, Brielle Yenny, Levi Yenny, Alexis Cullen, Ariel Cullen, Lillian Dillon, Eve Perkins, Skylar Perkins, Willow Perkins, Michael Cullen, Rylie Cullen.  And many, many, many friends.

A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church in Smithville.  The church is located at 300 Burleson Street in Smithville, Texas.
