Elmer Wayne Miller

Elmer Wayne Miller, 73, of Smithville, Tx left this world to be with his heavenly Father on December 25, 2020 at 4:43 pm.  Wayne was born at his family home in Austin, Tx on November 15, 1947.

For most of his Life Wayne lived in the Austin/Bastrop area where he met and married the love of his life Bonnie Lee Hutson.  Wayne was a Rock Mason for 38 years before retiring in 2002 and moving to Smithville, Tx.

Wayne is preceded in death by his father Granville Miller; his mother Mary Ann Raider Miller and his siblings; James (J.B), Granville (Mel), Joe Randolf, Wilber (Sonny), Wilma and Vivian.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie Hutson Miller, his son Bennie Miller and his daughters and son in laws, Theresa Gorman and Andre Hill and Julie Miller and Gene Ray;  11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, who loved their Uncle Wayne very much.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, January 1, 2021 at Marrs Jones Funeral Home, All Faiths of the Pines Chapel.  The funeral home is located at 110 American Legion Road in Smithville, Texas.

The Graveside service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Upper Cedar Creek Cemetery.

The Celebration of Wayne's life will continue following services at Rockne VFW Post #2527, 1503 FM 20, Rockne, Tx.
