Fletcher Wilbourn Frazier of Smithville, Texas passed away on Friday, May 08, 2020 at the age of 91. After months of declining health, Fletcher died peacefully at home with family by his side.
Fletcher was born on August 22, 1928 in Hunstville, Alabama to Ira and Dollie Frazier.
In October 1955, he married Demetra Carter. They raised two sons, Tony and Michael, and three daughters, Rhonda, Kathy and Sheila.
In 1970 he moved his family to Texas to continue his civil service employment at Bergstrom Air Force Base.
After retiring in 1993, Fletcher spent his time enjoying family and friends, restoring tractors, and watching Crimson Tide football.
Fletcher was preceded in death by his parents; brother James Frazier; and sister Nina Mae Frazier.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dee; children, Tony (Cindy) Frazier; Sheila (Mark) Hanna; Michael (Sandie) Frazier; Kathy (Mike) Dye; and Rhonda (Kirby) Smiley; 9 grandchildren, Brandon, Thomas, Ashley, Justin, Marshall, Matthew, Michaela, Lane and Madison; 15 great grandchildren Braxton, Rhett, Bella, Reid, Kylee, Katie, Jaxson, McKenzie, Weston, Kasen, Autumn, Paisyn, Taya, Lakin, and Hudson; nephew Jimmy, and nieces Cindy and Donna.
Fletcher was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to everyone.
He was a long-time dedicated member of the Smithville Church of Christ.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2020 from 10AM-11AM at the Smithville Church of Christ.
