Ina Helton

Ina Jo Truitt Helton, 88, of Smithville, Texas passed away August 24th, 2021.

She was born December 11th, 1932,to George Edward Truitt and Susie Mayfield Truitt, in Lenapah, Oklahomain Indian Territory.She was married to Kenneth Joe Helton. Jo worked for Nabisco Bakery in Houston Texas for over 40 years. She enjoyed gardening, bowling,water skiing, Uno,and Domino’s. She was active in the Nabisco retires club and a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She was a mother, grandmother, caregiver, and most of all enjoyed spending time with family and friends

.She is proceeded in death by her husband, Kenneth Joe Helton; daughter, Rebecca Jackson; brothers and sisters,Chris Parrish, Burman Truitt, George Truitt Jr., Dixie Kimbro, Thomas Truitt, Barbara Martin, and Cole Truitt.

She is survived by her daughters, Kay Jackson of Colmesneil, Texas; Cindy and Rusty Nail of Crosby, Texas; Camilla and David Snyder of Smithville, Texas; Shirley Jones of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Brian and Robby Pourciaux Owens of Winchester, Texas; Sean and Tammy Kirchner of Weaverville, North Carolina; Jason and Delta Kirchner of San Marcus, Texas; Nick and Candace Mooney of Crosby, Texas; Jonathan and Victoria Snyder of Lincoln, Texas; Clayton and Marsha Mooney of Crosby, Texas; Jacqueline and Clay Bendy of Colmesneil, Texas; Christin Snyder of Smithville, Texas; DJ and Stacy Morehouse of Crosby, Texas. Twenty-two Great-Grand Children and 7 Great Great-Grand Children.
