Jack Gonzales

Jack Stuart Gonzales, age 52, of Smithville, Texas passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at his residence.  He was born January 4, 1968 in Jourandon, Texas to Roy Gonzales and Lupe Alaniz Tinsley.

Jack was employed at Gonzales Farming and believed in working hard.  He enjoyed being outside especially if he was farming or bull riding.  He was caring and always willing to lend a helpful hand to anyone in need.  He will be remembered for his outgoing personality and ability to always lift the spirits of others.

In addition to his mother and father, those left to cherish his memory also include his step mother, Judy Gonzales; three sons, Robert Lee Gonzales, Ronnie Gonzales and Jack Gonzales; three brothers, Alex Gonzales, Jimmie Gonzales and Tony Garcia; three sisters, Ester Landers, Susie Herndon and Sandee Cockerham; two grandchildren, numerous beloved aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins.

Due to the restriction Bastrop County in enforcing the family will hold a private service for family only.  Jack will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville, Texas.

Service as pallbearers will be Armando Herrera, Johnny Martinez, Ben Cardenas, Eddie Parker, Rick Ervin and Cary Mapocha.
