On October 4, 2020 James Argabright passed away at his home in Fairport, Missouri at the age of 90. He was born in Oglesby, Texas.
James was a loving husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather. James loved to dance and joke around and always had a smile on his face. He never knew a stranger.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Luther and Inez Argabright; his wife, Ruth Argabright; sister, Wilma Argabright Brading; brothers, Kermit Agrabright; stepson, Paul Reeds.
James is survived by his wife Carol Argabright of Fairport, Missouri; children, Darrell and Tena Argabright of Deer Park, Texas, Genia and Eddie Choate of West Columbia, Texas, Gary and Beverly Argabright of Conroe, Texas, James Argabright, Jr of Houston, Texas; brother, Martin Argabright of Eddy, Texas; stepchildren, Billy and Lisa Reeds of Bakerfield, California, Bobby and Denise Reeds of Henderson, Tennessee, Robyn Reeds of Stewartsville, Missouri, Curtis Reeds and Rosi of Drummonds, Tennessee, Terri and Nathen Silver of Maysville, Missouri, Jerry and Monica of Hamilton, Missouri; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
James will be laid to rest at the Byler Cemetery following his graveside service at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
Directions to the cemetery:
From Smiththville take highway 71 East and follow the signs to West Point. After crossing over Highway 71 you will travel 2 blocks and turn right on FM 154 heading south. You will go under the Highway 71 overpass and continue on FM 154 to Old Lockhart Rd. Turn right (this is a railroad crossing) and travel between 2- 3 miles the Cemetery will be on the right.
