Janie Moss

Janie Marie Moss, age 89 of Smithville, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at her home with her daughters by her side. She was born December 20, 1927 to Melvin and Gazell Hataway in Nacogdoches, Texas. Janie married BH Moss on August 1, 1952.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Janie is survived by: 2 daughters, Elaine Paget and Kellie Moss; 2 grandchildren, Pam Paget and Michael Paget (Grace); 3 great-grandchildren, Taylor Wauschek, Hunter Wauschek and Sorayma Paget; siblings Melvin Hataway, Jr., Christine Wilson, Wanda Sue Pierce and Marietta Hataway as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will celebrate a private memorial at a later date.
