Joe Anthony Navarro

December 12, 1980 — August 4, 2019

Joe Anthony Navarro, 38, of Smithville Texas passed away August 4, 2019.  He was born December 12, 1980 in Bastrop, Texas.

Joe Anthony spent his life in Smithville. He graduated from Smithville High School and worked with his family for many years.  With support from his family and friends, Joe Anthony started his own business in the construction industry and was highly successful.  He was one of the friendliest and most outgoing people you would ever meet. His big contagious smile he wore would light up a room as soon as he walked in. Joe Anthony would do anything he could to help any friend or family member in need; a selfless man who was loved and will be missed by many.

Joe Anthony was an avid fisherman that loved being on the water.  He loved everything about food and was always ready to “get fat”.  He had a love for vehicles that was unmatched. No matter if the vehicle had 2-wheels, 4-wheels, or even 3-wheels he was ready to see hard he could push it.

He is survived by his grandmother, Virginia Navarro; grandfather and grandmother Dale and LaWana Weaver; grandfather Caroll Nelson;  father Joe and wife Leanna Navarro;  mother Kim and husband Rick Silman;  his brothers, Chris and wife Amanda Navarro, Logan and wife Hailey Navarro, Justin and wife Jazmine Navarro, Charles and wife Susan Davis, Kameron and wife Sara Sheward, Jackson Matthijetz and Maverick Navarro; his sisters, Lauren Navarro, Ashton Navarro, and Kendall and husband Jeremy Bailey; his aunts and uncles Keith and Toni Nelson, Jane and Clemente Navarro, Tanya and Chris Blanding, Joe Carrasco.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Domingo Navarro and his aunt, Susan Carrasco.
