Kristin Maugere

Kristin Nicole Maugere passed away on Monday, March 06, 2023 at the age of 23.

She was born on September 29, 1999 to Michael and Donna Maugere in Austin, Texas.

Kristin was predeceased by her mother, Donna Schutz Maugere, her Grandmother, Assunta J. Maugere, and Papaw, Ben Schutz. She is survived by her father, Michael J. Maugere Jr., her sister, Haley Maugere and brothers, Bradley Cook and Brandon Seely.

Kristin had a heart of gold. She would put other peoples needs ahead of her own. Her smile lit up a room, and she always knew how to make someone laugh.

She loved her everyday Starbucks, selfies, music, Florida vacations, and hanging out with friends.

At the age of 15, when Kristin obtained her drivers permit, she became an organ donor. May she be honored in death for caring enough about others to offer a final gift to the world, with the hope of enabling life to spring from death and sorrow, as one family’s grief and loss become another family’s greatest gift!

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Kristin's life on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, the service will start at 1:30pm and burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The funeral home is located at 110 American Legion Drive in Smithville, Texas.
