In Loving Memory of Linda Marie Winkler

Linda passed away on September 2, 2024, in her hometown of Smithville, Texas. She was born in Smithville, June 7, 1951, to Herman and Antonia Winkler. She has lived her entire life in this small town.

Linda always enjoyed fishing with her twin brothers. Every chance she got she was wetting that line.

If she wasn’t working at her Happy Place, Judy’s Attic (as she called it), she loved playing BINGO with all her friends all around Smithville, Rockne, Schulenberg, Bastrop Senior Center, etc.

Linda was very involved in her Church and many Catholic organizations—Catholic Daughters, St. Vincent DePaul, Bereavement Committee, etc.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Antonia Winkler, brother David Winkler (Debbie), grandparents Anton and Frances Elias, Henry and Agnes Winkler.

She is survived by brothers, Harvey (Nancy) Winkler, Barry Winkler, Larry Winkler, sister Bernice Winkler Hoehne. Linda leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She will be missed.
