Mary Elizabeth Barina passed from this life August 5, 2014 at the age of 87. She was one of seven daughters born to Mollie and Vaclav Barina of Smithville, Texas.
She was discovered by a famous painter, William Foster, in Los Angeles, CA. He painted over two dozen paintings of her because she was so beautiful. She was a resident of Bastrop, TX and never married but was engaged several times. She had no children but was very fond of cats. She is survived by her sisters: Edna Tennison, Bertha Norman, Gladys Zimmerhanzel, & Dorothy Barina.
Private services were held at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home.
Mary had a graveside service and was laid to rest near her parents at 11am on August 9, 2014 at Oak Hill Cemetery.
