Milburn E. Stall passed away December 11, 2022 at the age of 92.
Milburn was born and raised in the Smithville/Rosanky area where he lived until he met the love of his life Margie (Brewer) Stall that he has been married to for 72 years. After marrying they moved to Austin to raise their family and to pursue his career as a Brick and Stone mason. Upon retiring he returned to the country life that he always loved in Smithville.
Milburn was always known for his sheepish and inquisitive smile. His greatest enjoyment in life was teaching and sharing his knowledge of building and working on cars with all of his son-in-laws and grandsons Bill, Ken, Johnie, Wes, Todd and Steven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August Stall and Frances (Stasny) Stall; his beloved grandsons, William “Todd” Waggoner and Steven Lovelace; son-in-law, Wes Garratt.
Milburn is survived by his wife, Margie (Brewer) Stall; daughters, Rita Waggoner-Kalina (Johnie), Sue Ann Garratt; granddaughter, Tina Waggoner; 3 great-granddaughters, 7 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great-great-grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Stall; sisters, Betty Schutz, Nancy Gosch (Jerry); and numerous extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation in memory of Milburn Stall.
Visitation will be at 11:00am and the funeral service at 11:30am on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Marrs Jones Funeral Home with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The funeral home is located at 110 American Legion Road in Smithville, Texas.
