Mitchell Landford Tiner

December 22, 1997 — November 4, 2024

Mitchell Landford Tiner, 26, of Smithville, TX passed away November 4, 2024. Mitch was born December 22, 1997 to Mark and Cissy Tiner in Austin, TX. He attended Smithville High School and worked at Aqua Water holding several positions most recent being a SCADA Technician. He made a huge impact in every position he held and loved his Aqua family.

He met the love of his life, Kaylynn, at a very young age but did not realize until they reunited in April of 2023. Meant to be together they were never apart, did everything together, from pickin’ and playin’ on the front porch at Tiner Hill to their “ Sunday fundays” where they did just about anything Kaylynn could talk him into doing. Whether it was staying home and playing games with Jameson or painting photos of each other, it didn’t matter as long as they were together. They were married on September 22, 2024 when he became the very proud step-father to Jameson whom he accepted and loved as his own.

Mitchell was a lifelong member of Saint Mary’s Catholic Church, he was an alter server and participated in the CYO. Along with being a proud member of the String Prairie Knights of Columbus, he loved God and his family above all things.

In his lifetime, Mitchell was always willing to lend a hand to anyone, whether it be bailing hay with his Papa, Rex, or helping put back a few beers. Mitch always enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar and the mandolin. His favorite pass time was front porch picking and singing to old music and gospels.

Mitch could get any one person to go from a serious conversation to falling over backwards with laughter. He told the greatest stories, the type that always left a person wanting to hear more. His quick wit and loud laughter is one thing that will forever be hard to forget.

He is survived by his wife, Kaylynn, and step-son, Jameson. Parents, Mark and Cissy (Miller) Tiner. Siblings, Erica and husband Stran Hunt, Ryan and wife Hannah Tiner. Grandparents, Rex and Mary Lynn Tiner. Step-Grandfather, Al Johnson and wife Shawnee. Nieces, Oaklynn and Wrenlee Tiner, and nephew, Wynston Tiner. As well as numerous family and friends.

Proceeded in death by grandparents Jimmy and Peggy Miller and Uncle Jimmy Miller Jr.
