Rory Marrs

Rory Ray Marrs, 57, of Smithville, TX was welcomed by God into His Kingdom on May 17, 2021.

Rory was born in Granbury, TX on June 11, 1963. He graduated from Smithville High School in 1981.

He married Pam Vinklarek on August 6, 1983 in Cistern, TX. In this union they welcomed two sons, Dustin and Chad. They celebrated 37 years of marriage last year.

Rory worked as a Project Manager for Aqua Water Supply in Bastrop, TX for 36 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, BBQing, going on gambling trips, golf cart riding, and anything that involved his entire family. Being a Dad and Popa Ro were his most prideful accomplishments.

Rory is survived by his mother Jo Potts of Bastrop, TX, wife Pam Vinklarek Marrs, sons Dustin (Elizabeth) of Flatonia, TX and Chad (Cadie) of Smithville, TX, grandchildren Brycen, Brylinn, Bristol, and Ellis, brother Danny (LouAnn) of Seadrift, TX, sisters Debbie Murphy (Wayne) of Smithville, TX, Fonda Iselt (Tobin) of Dime Box, TX, and Laura Taylor of McDade, TX, brothers in law Bobby Vinklarek (Vicki) of Smithville, TX, Donnie Vinklarek of Cistern, TX, Mark Vinklarek (Sharon) of Kingsland, TX, Ronnie Vinklarek (Belinda) of Smithville, TX, and sisters in law Cathy Steinhauser (Michael) of Flatonia, TX, and Suzanne Williams (Craig) of Smithville, TX. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom he adored.

Rory was greeted in heaven by his father Clifford Ray Marrs, grandparents, aunts and uncles, mother and father-in-law Edward and Joyce Vinklarek, brother and sister-in-law Johnnie and Betty Wulf, and dear friends Jimmy and Bryan Campion
