Sammy Schubert

Sammy Edward Schubert passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 75.  He was born in Red Rock, Texas on March 7, 1943.  Mr. Schubert is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served our country with pride from 1961 to 1965.

Sammy is Survived by his wife, Dorothy (Hartmann) Schubert of La Grange, Texas; daughter, Sherry Walton and her husband Andy of Sealy, Texas; sons, Sean Schubert and his wife Brenda of Weimar, Texas, Bobby Schubert of Sealy, Texas, Keith Schubert of La Grange, Texas, Kevin Schubert and his wife Shandell of La Grange, Texas, Brad Schubert of Sealy, Texas and David Schubert of La Grange, Texas; brothers, Michael of Port Lavaca, Texas and Donny Schubert of Rosanky, Texas along with nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Landy Huel Schubert and Nella Mae Anderson; his brothers, Charles Schubert and Billy H. Schubert.

A visitation will be held at All Faiths of the Pines located at 110 American Legion Road, Smithville, Texas, on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.  Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Thursday, April 26, 2018 also at All Faiths of the Pines.  Sammy Edward Schubert will be laid to rest at the Rosanky Cemetery located in Rosanky, Texas following the services.  As a Veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Schubert will have Full Military Honors performed in recognition of his service by the Bastrop County Honor Guard Association at the interment and a folded United States Flag will be presented to his family.
