Susan Elaine Fleming, a devoted servant of God and a beacon of light in the lives of many, peacefully transitioned to her eternal home on March 15th, 2025, at the age of 68. Susan leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and unwavering trust in God’s plan.
Susan is survived by her brother, Don Fleming; husband, Brady; sons, Trace, Casey (Sydney), and Stacy (Loren); grandchildren, Luke and Devin (Trace), Chloe, Jagger, Addy, and Audrey Jean (Casey), and Sayler (Stacy). Her son’s father, Henry Hofferek and stepfather Derek Buckley.
Susan is preceded in death by her father, Billy Curtis Fleming, and her mother, Norma Jean Fleming.
Susan loved her family and cats more than anything. Nothing made her happier than spending time with them. One of her favorite things to do was go camping, especially at the Frio River.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Susan Elaine Fleming’s life. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Mars Jones Funeral Home in Smithville. After the service we will meet at Oak Hill Cemetery for her final resting place. Your presence and support during this time of remembrance are deeply appreciated.
