William Zimmerhanzel

William O (Bill) Zimmerhanzel was born on 1-26-1935 in Flatonia Texas and passed away 11-7-2017. He graduated high school in Burnet Texas and served in the US Navy. He married Marion Sue Marx on August 28, 1955 and they were married for 61 years. Bill retired as Chief of Police from Southwestern University and worked for the City of Georgetown Parks and recreation where he retired in 1999. Following retirement Bill and Sue moved to Smithville to to be close to son Mark Zimmerhanzel and his wife Debra.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife Sue and survived by his sister JoAnn his son Mark Zimmerhanzel and daughter in law Debra Zimmerhanzel.
